I CAN'T READ OR WRITE!

At work, I entered the office to sign in and I was informed we were not allowed to read books, magazines, newspapers, or anything. Being a person who likes to write in her journal, I'm not allowed to write. This is outrageous! I like to read and write! What will we be allowed to do on our free time?! Look at the fucking wall?! Before I go on, I work as an outside operation agent. For those who fly often, sometimes there isn't always a jetbridge attached to the airplane. Our job -- especially since there's more than one plane -- is to lead passengers to the correct aircraft and to lead them into the terminal when they arrive to Chicago. Anyway, the thing is that there is frequent downtime. So, in the meanwhile we entertain ourselves by reading or writing. Now, that opinion is taken away. We can't exercise our minds. We would be the last people to know of current events. If a student needed to study on the sidelines, they are out of luck. In my opinion this job sees us as robots, not human beings. I should go maverick on them.
