Random Blogging...July 19

I had a bad week at work. However, hopefully, things will change and get better starting tomorrow. I'll said more, later.

I'm accepting Michael Jackson's death pretty well (really, his family and friends has the right to be sadder than I am). I think intially I was sad not just because of the loss of his life...it was the loss of the Michael Jackson we once adored. I agreed that he was more handsome shortly after Thriller was released, but since last month, I think about with deeper thought. He was worth a watch back in '84. Sometimes, I think it was a mistake that I wasn't born in 1970...that way I would admire and probably contact him as a teen.

I've been struggling in finding the best price to fly back to Los Angeles. I really wanna return for my birthday. Since, virtually all the prices failed me, I will use my frequent flyer miles and fly with United...the only airline I use to travel.

July 18 & 19 was twenty years to the days of two shocking events: the murder of 21-year-old Rebecca Schaeffer (She starred in My Sister Sam in 1986. If you don't know of her, I don't blame you. It took me watching Entertainment Tonight to know.) and the crash of United Airlines Flight 232 (It crashed in Sioux City, Iowa.). I will write more about those, later.
